1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply when you browse the PBL website, submit a quotation request, activate or use My PBL, upload documents, use tracking tools or otherwise interact with PBL digital services. Separate quotations, service confirmations or signed agreements may contain additional commercial terms.
2. Quotations and service requests
A quotation request submitted online is a request for review, not an automatic booking or transport commitment. Rates, validity, routing, space, free time, customs scope, payment terms and execution details are confirmed separately by PBL before work begins.
3. Customer information and instructions
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, cargo, value, classification, origin, destination, documentation and other shipment information. PBL may rely on the information and instructions you or your authorized users provide when preparing or performing services.
4. Carriers, agents and third parties
PBL may coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, terminals, customs brokers, transport providers, agents, authorities and other third parties. Their schedules, systems, charges, terms and performance may be outside PBL’s direct control.
5. My PBL accounts and security
Account access is limited to authorized users. You must protect login credentials, keep user access current and notify PBL promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Attempts to access another customer’s data, interfere with the platform or misuse automated access are prohibited.
6. Tracking, ETA and operational status
Tracking events, vessel information, carrier status and estimated arrival/departure times may change and may be supplied by third parties. PBL operational status and carrier transport status are presented separately where possible. Tracking information is for operational guidance and is not a guaranteed delivery commitment.
7. Documents and communications
Documents, messages, payment proofs and operational records submitted through PBL must relate to legitimate business and shipment activity. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any personal, commercial or third-party information uploaded to the platform.
8. Payments
Payment requests and instructions shown through PBL must be verified against the relevant quotation, shipment or invoice. PBL does not request or store raw payment-card numbers or CVV values on this website. If card payments are introduced, they will use an appropriate hosted payment provider.
9. Website content and acceptable use
PBL website content, branding, layouts and materials may not be copied, republished, scraped, reverse engineered or used to misrepresent PBL without permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise. You may use public guidance for normal business reference.
10. Availability and force-majeure events
PBL may update, suspend or maintain digital services as needed. Delays may occur because of carrier changes, port or airport disruption, customs or authority action, severe weather, systems failure, labor action, security incidents or other events beyond reasonable control.
11. Liability and service-specific terms
Any service-specific liability, limitation, insurance, claims or dispute provisions are governed by the applicable quotation, transport document, signed agreement and mandatory law. Nothing on this website is intended to override rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing framework and contact
These website Terms are intended to operate under the applicable laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. A separate signed service agreement may contain additional governing-law or dispute provisions. Questions about these Terms may be sent to info@pbl.com.eg.
13. Changes to these Terms
PBL may update these Terms when the website, services or legal requirements change. The current version and update date are shown on this page. Continued use after an update is subject to the version then in effect.
