Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Policy covers personal information processed through pbl.com.eg, quotation requests, My PBL, customer communications, shipment operations, website analytics and related PBL digital services.
PBL may collect names, business contact details, company information, account credentials and security records, quotation and shipment details, tracking references, uploaded documents, messages, payment-proof information, preferences, feedback, device/browser data and website interaction data.
Information may be provided directly by you or an authorized company user, generated through your use of PBL systems, received from carriers, agents or logistics partners, or collected through essential security technologies and optional analytics when permitted.
PBL uses information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, activate accounts, coordinate shipments, manage documents and payments, provide tracking and operational updates, secure the platform, maintain records, improve services and meet legal or compliance obligations. Processing is carried out on an appropriate basis permitted by applicable law, including consent where required, contractual necessity and legitimate business or legal needs where applicable.
PBL treats marketing separately from operational communications. Marketing email or WhatsApp updates are sent only where PBL has an appropriate permission or other lawful basis. Consent may be withdrawn or marketing may be opted out of using the method provided in the communication or by contacting PBL. Quote confirmations, shipment updates, security messages and other service communications are not marketing.
PBL may share relevant information with hosting, email, analytics, payment, carrier, airline, shipping-line, customs, terminal, transport, agent and other service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the website or perform requested logistics services. PBL does not sell customer personal data to advertisers.
International freight may require information to be processed or shared with logistics partners, carriers or service providers in other countries. Where applicable law imposes requirements on cross-border transfers, PBL will handle such transfers in accordance with those requirements.
PBL keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including shipment operations, customer support, accounting, audit, security, dispute handling and legal or regulatory obligations. Retention may differ by record type.
PBL uses measures including HTTPS, access controls, secure sessions, password hashing, token protection, role-based access, audit logging and backups. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their credentials and devices.
Essential cookies support security, sessions, authentication and consent preferences. Optional performance measurement is controlled through the cookie-consent tools described in the Cookie Policy.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and information about processing. Requests should be sent to info@pbl.com.eg. PBL may need to verify identity and may retain information where legally required.
Where applicable, PBL processes personal data in accordance with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations No. 816 of 2025, together with other applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Individuals may also have the right to raise concerns with the competent Personal Data Protection Center.
PBL’s website and logistics services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the website, contact PBL so the matter can be reviewed.
