CONTAINER NUMBER
PBL first recognizes the standard container-number format, then uses the reference prefix to estimate the likely carrier. Because a container prefix can identify equipment ownership rather than the operating carrier, the result is shown as a likely carrier rather than a guarantee.
B/L
B/L formats vary by shipping line, but several carrier prefixes can provide a stronger match. If PBL cannot identify the line safely, it will not pretend to know and will offer official carrier routes instead.
PBL STATUS VS CARRIER STATUS
Carrier status describes transport events reported by the carrier. PBL status describes operational work such as documents, customs and coordination. Keeping them separate avoids false certainty about a shipment’s physical position or operational readiness.

No. Websites are isolated from one another by browser security. PBL keeps its own short-lived tracking session while official tracking opens separately; carrier login tokens and cookies are not copied back into PBL.
PBL does not claim a live GPS position unless an official source explicitly provides it. The goal is to show carrier events, ETA and status available from official sources.
